Sprout's temperment is amazing. I beleive he would find birds where there were no birds! Sprout's name and nickname are no coincidence since both are taken from the great bird dog and sire at Sarahsetter-No Fear/Bean. Sprout may be one of the most intelligent English setter ever born here. His interior kennel gate has been open since he was 7 months old and he chooses not to jump out. Sprout has spent 18 months in western Oklahoma with Gary Hill, a friend who breds pointers and he says Sprout is one of the best wild bird finders he has ever seen. |
